TTS Header Questions?????????????????
http://www.ttspowersystems.com/headers-y.htm
My last experience with headers was on a '72 Ray, and I found them to rattle, be noisy in general, and they were water soluble. I would not like to duplicate this experience as they are expensive. If they work out, it will be money well spent.
I have a few questions about the TTS headers, and my preference would be that people who actually have them offer information.
1. Is ground clearance reduced? If so, how much?
2. Are they noisy? From where does the sound come?
3. Is fit and finish as nice as it appears?
4. Have there been any product support issues?
Any other thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

The headers are the lowest part now and I scratched mine , yet.
But my car is very low!!
2.Not noisy!!
3. Fit and finish is the best I have seen, yet.
Those TTS are really top quality!!
I can really recommend them!!!!

2. The sound level of your exhaust may raise a few Db but it is not in an anoying way whatsoever. The Long Tubes actually make the tone of your exhaust sound more powerful which is very desirable.
3. From our experience with the TTS Long TUbes, the fit and finish is perfect. The install is not REAL simple but once they are on, they fit perfect. These headers are VERY well built with nice thick flanges, excellent quality welds and 3" collectors.
4. We have sold probably close to 30 sets of these headers and have had no real support issues with them. They seem to be holding up very well to many different applications. From our experiences with Steve Cole who designed and produces these headers, he always stands behind his products and makes things right for the customer.
I have personally had these headers on my car for almost a year now. I installed them when I did my heads/cam package and they have done a great job. Some people think the smaller diametered tubes are a downfall but they are perfect for stock, bolt-on, and heads/cam LS1s because of the nice amount of lower end power they add over larger diameter headers.
We have very competitive pricing on these headers. If you need any more info on them or would like pricing, drop me an email. We always have these in stock and ready to ship.
Mine hang about 1/2 inch lower than the rest of the car - so I cant say NO - but it is minimal for a long tube header.
2. Are they noisy? From where does the sound come?
You will notice a tone difference - deeper and just a tad bit louder/deeper - hard to put into words - but definetly not a deal breaker for those whom like to be more quite.
3. Is fit and finish as nice as it appears?
YES! :yesnod: - these are the best built headers I have ever seen. They "appear" to be to notch in every aspect.
4. Have there been any product support issues?
I havent heard of anyone having an issue with them yet - so knock on wood we never have to go back to TTS for a repair.

Are they legal, no! Don't ask don't tell, they will pass emission test from what I have heard.
