windshield wiper arm removal ? C5
I'm trying to replace the lower windshield weatherstrip.
after removing the plastic cap and nut on the wiper
arm i still can't budge the arm. Am i missing something ?
Is there something else that needs to be loosened.

No, they just "set" themselves over time. Try a little pb blaster and GENTLY get under the housing with a small screwdriver and go around the circumference..........use an old wash rag to pad the screwdriver. They will come off

I couldn't mine off either but read in a thead to use a Top Post Battery Terminal Puller and it came right off with no problem
You should be able to get one at: Kragens, Pep Boys, Autozone etc.

At my local Advance store, it's called a wiper arm removal tool, and sells for about 3 dollars.
