Please Help
Guys I need some quick help. I just got my 98 vet back from the shop,paint work and it looks like someone switched my radio. I have a 98 vet with bose speakers(factory) and factory disc changer in the trunk. I can not even put the cd player on, I dont know if I forgot or if someone changed my frikkin radio. Can some one send me a quick pick on what my factory radio should look like. I only had the car 2 months, But this does not look like my radio. Please post some pics. Ideas or maybe I am not hitting the right button on the radio for the cd to come on???

Did the shop disconnect your battery? If so the anti theft feature may have locked your stereo(refer to your owner's manual). I can't imagine a shop would steal your factory stereo they are a dime a dozen.

does any of the radio work? if so, check to make sure it is plugged in, in the back. does your radio indicate er? maybe they just took your cd's
do a search on radio and you will find several pics. you may have to go to general c5 discussion forum under audio. i was just on there looking for a way to add an aux port to mine and i saw a lot of pics.

Its time to call the COPS
If they really purloined your radio have them arrested for theft. Packrat switching is THEFT. Good thing you didn't have any MEMORIABELIA in the car. You might have been held up at gunpoint.
