Heheh, I seem to be following you around. Doing the conversion isn't cheap. It can be done and your SC will work fine with it. Most of the external parts will swap over. The LS2 uses 243 heads. Try looking at a forged 402 or 403. With the right setup and your SC you'd be making ~800rwhp
Haha, well thanks for the great input!! I am just trying to figure out which way to go here since I have the engine out......hmm.....800rwhp???! NICE....how do I build a 402...is it the bore and stroke or what

Just the stroke on the stock LS2 bore. I had Texas Speed build me a 402 stroker with ported L92 (LS3) heads and L76 intake assembly.
Hey, if I was to put like 800 hp to the wheels, what would need to be beefed up on the stock z06 rear end???
Dustin
I recommend calling Phil at DTE and tell him your goals for your car and how you plan to use it (street, dragstrip, road racing, etc). He will help you figure out what you need to do.
I have a DTE stage 2 differential with micro-polished 4.10 gears, billet pinion shaft support, and DTE strut brace and I'm putting down just under 500 rwhp.
