I deduced that LT's displaced the upper O2 sensors. Do the shorties do the same thing? What if you want to keep the stock cats and O2 sensors? I need some edumacating! Jack
I Installed The B&b Shorties On My 01 Z06 At Approx. 5k Miles Back In Jan. Of 2002. They Are A Very Good Piece And Easy To Install. The Ones I Had Were Stainless Step Headers, I Liked Them But I Am Planning On Installing Long Tubes On My 04 Z06.

The bbk are mild steel and not equal length primaries. Avoid them.
The B&B shorties are awesome, and WILL gain you 12 rwhp by themselves. Stainless steel, equal length primaries, really nice merge collectors. I am running them on my Supercharged car. And CA legal.
Thanks thats what I was looking for, and the same route I plan to take. What is your RWHP now?
Im planning cat back (already installed) x pipe shorty headers ATI procharger, and a tune i think thats about it in the power department.
I want to max out smog legal hp and be able to teach those snooty Ferraris a lesson!!!!
How much did you gain with the F-body shorties? The norm is 5-7 rwhp... My mid-lengths (with cats) did about 18rwhp and my LTs (w/o cats) did about 25rwhp with some extra torque. If Corvette shorties cost more than $500 to gain around 5rwhp, I wouldn't bother. I'm hoping for some direct comparisons...
I never did quantify it..but..the "SOTP dyno" told me there was a "noticable" change
BTW buy used..new is a bit pricy...800 bucks is a bit much for shorties

I should be ~500rwhp.
Word of advice, go with an ECS Paxton kit or at least get an ECS bracket for the ProCharger. The first bracket I had was the original ATI bracket, which was a complete joke and I never even put it on the car because I could tell just from looking at it what a piece of garbage it was.
I recently got a first hand look at the new and improved Stage 2 ATI bracket installed on a z06, and while better than the original, it still pales in comparison to the ECS bracket, and the tensioner placement was a bit odd/non-user friendly.
Also, if you go ProCharger pay the little extra now for a D1SC head unit over a P1SC.

Thanks again! I will take that into consideration when i purchase the ATI set up, I think the D1SC is the kit i was looking at smog legal for the 04 and about 7k.
