Just battled through installing a BK extinguisher bracket, now I need the bottle. (An FYI, if you have loyds or any other thicker floormats, you need to take a little bit out of the carpet to make the mat fit under the extinguisher bracket.
Anyway, I need a 2.5lb amerex extinguisher. THeres the dry chemical stuff at 20-30 per bottle and halotron at 150. Either one works the same, or should I stay away from the cheaper stuff? Any input?

Halotron. You will NOT like the aftermath of powder extinguisher.

Go with Halon. It's still the best. It's twice as efficient as Halotron 1.
A 2.5LBS Amerex Halon has a UL rating of 5BC where a 2.5LBS Halotron has a UL racting of 2BC.
