Digital AC (ECU) controls not functioning correctly
I recently put a new motor in my C5, along with a AC compressor. I had the Cheverolet service department refill the refrigerant and the AC is as cold as it is supposed to be. However the digital controll for the AC (Automatic and dual zone) is now not functioning correctly. I takes effort to turn it on (holding the button down, switching modes, turning it off and on) and when it is on it blows on the widow vent (front) and the floor and middle but cannot be adjusted properly. Any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this?

It sounds like a vaccume hose is not connected properly. On my 99 coupe, I had to replace the check valve that had three tiny vaccume hoses attached to it. its located under the battery. there is another behind the motor just below the intake manifold. If you do a search the thread will come up. Good luck.
