Default cod 0410 and engine light comming and go

My problem is that cod P0410 and engine light comming and go.When i remove the batteri cables over the night ,everything is ok in the morning and the cod P0410 and engine light is gone. But the next morning when i start the car everything is ok in the begining, and the air pump is working. But after about 5 minutes driving the P0410 is back.
Always when i remove the batteri cabeles over the night everything works one day.But if i dont remove the batter cables over the night the problem is back after 5 miutes driving. The car is already warm when the cod is comming back. I,m grateful for help. Thanks from a Swedish guy.

I had this code and it drove me crazy while at the same time preventing me from passing inspection.

I tested my air pump and it seemed to work fine, however, at the dealership the tech showed me that the air pump would not work for him. He traced it down to the vacuum line that runs under your battery (check to see if your battery has leaked on the line and burned a hole in it...which is what happened to me) and then over to the air pump. The vacuum line initiates the operation of the air pump.

Several people said it could also have been my check valves sticking and Bill Curlee had a great method of fixing those easily with no cost involved.
