Running very rich?? Need help
I think I'm running very rich following install of the mods in my sig.. I'm getting a lot of carbon at the muffler tips. Does this make sense? What are my options for clearing this up?
Thanks as always..

Nitrovette
The MAF Translator allows you to adjust (dial in) richness or leanness by sending an adjusted signal to the PCM. The Ease program allows you to monitor and record changes.

Good luck!

To know exactly how your engine is calibrating as to PCM functions, obtain a PCM scanner tool such as the Ease Powertain enhanced scanner.
Like any tool, your best off using one that you trust in what it does and reason Ease has won 21 awards for its design and why G.M uses that vendor.
Within one good drive and recording the PCM you will clearly know what state your air/fuel ratio is and allow you then to make the correct decision as to tuning out the ill AFR.
If the PVC is sucking in oil into intake manifold, it will carbon up pistons and the more buildup there is, the higher octane you need and more knock you get.
Use a good carbon cleaner product, then use 1 bottle ( every third gas fillup ) of 104+ product to help keep carbon down.
Look via throttle body with a light, if you see oil traces within intake manifold, its the cause of some of what you see at exhaust tips.
Once you have done some PCM recording, you can properly adjust for a balanced performance AFR using a MAF translator. It's simple to use and the Ease scanner will report if your changes are in the correction direction or not.
