Programming a 3 to 2 shift lockout
Here's an idea: How hard would it be to add a shift lockout that prevented an accidental 3 to 2 downshift at high speeds? The logic wouldn't be that different from the reverse lockout or the CAGS 1-4. The lockout profile would just have to lockout 2nd at speeds over 100 or so. I would guess that all the hardware is already in place for something like this (speed sensors, CAGS actuators, computers, etc.).
It's not a necessary feature, but it would give added piece of mind when trying to slam a 3 to 4 shift at speed.
For once, this would be an aftermarket product that I would NOT be first in line to test. :D
