I have a set of engine keys that may or may not work at intermitted times. When the problem comes there is no warning but all keys work to start the car till its in drive then the car will stall. Using the other engine key will start the car and there is no engine stall. This security system condition of stalling the car is not all the time, and the reverse can happen with the other key that failed; now it is the key used to correct the problem so the engine starts and will not stall.
I used a ohm digital meter to test both keys. The keys each measured 1.679. There was on another forum post a listing of the VATS key reading and both my key chip measurements were 1.679. The 1.679 is not within a +/- 10% of the closest VATS keys readouts numbered key 5, key6, or key7. Are my key chips failing? If so what would be the correct VATS key number to use on a key that measured 1.679

My big issue is it couldn’t possibly have been tested before released. It appears to me
to have designed by someone that no experience
in infotainment systems and never drove a C8.
