I have a hunch my selective ride control on my 97 coupe is not working. I checked the connection but it's good. I have a hunch that with 108K on the clock te shocks might have gone out. The ride is rather firm and I feel nearly every bump in the road. By comparison, my mom's 98 vert has a "floating" feelingn over the ground like a helicopter.
I've been told that replacing adjustable shocks is rather expensive and a much less costly option might be coilovers.
I ditched my F-45 and went with Bilstein Sports for $350 - very happy - and had the F-45 written out of the PC by my tuner for $50.
The ride select feature is a BS non-responsive item that GM tries to market but frankly, I never noticed much difference between the settings when my car was brand new.
Cut your losses, improve the ride and control and ditch the F-45 ride select feature and shocks - not worth the $$.
