Im in need of a new set of tires. I am either going to go with the stock Good Year Super Cars or Michelin PSII's. My question is which tire hooks up better in stock sizes. Ive had the psII's on my 19" ccws but i assume they will hook better with 18"s. If i compare the 2, the Good Years hook better from my experience but then again they werent in the same sizes...has anyone had both combos...? what do you think was better?
I would say ditch both & get a set of Bfg kdw2s they have a bad *** tread design ,along with high mileage tire & they hook better than any goodyear or bridgestone potenza, they are @ tire rack ,or get u a set of Drag rdls for the strip & use your street tires for cruzing the street

I have these set of tires on my 01 vette and i am very happy with them. I have 295/35-18 BFG KDWII's and i would say these are the best tires for the price. As for traction ive had some kumo ecstas n knew some one with the eagle f1 on a zo6 and i say the BFG KDWII's are still better......
what do you guys think about the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3???
I have the GSD-3's on two of our three Corvettes. Stock Eagle runflats on the third. Definitely prefer the GSD-3's. Smoother ride....by far and better handling. It was this article by Hib Halverson that sold me on them. This is a good read:
