Default Drivetrain Loss?

I am just curious what the drivetrain loss is on a 99FRC? Thanks.

Here's a link to a thread that seems to demonstrate that at least on higher applications (490 rwhp in this case) the loss for an A4 is only 17.2% - just FYI.

The most commonly used rule of thumb is 15% on the 6spds. Since you have a 6spd (as all FRCs do) that is a resonable number. Only way to know for certain would be to compare engine dyno numbers to a chassis dyno's numbers.

A very inexact science (drivetrain losses). Its a Corvette, its fast! Why do folks get so wrapped around the axle on HP numbers

As noted by LoneStarFRC above, this will tell what you want to know, but don't put TOO much stock in a dyno number.
