Would a shifter **** (6-speed) off a C6Z or regular C6 work on my C5 hurst shifter? ive heard and read that it can but id figure i would ask on hear know i would get a better answer. thanks

The C6 shifter ishaft is a few thousandths larger than the C5. Hence the **** will be a sloppy fit unless you wrap the C5 shaft with something. The C5 shifter is threaded while the C6 **** is held on with a set screw thru a hole in the C6 shaft. You could use the C6 **** if you can drill and tap your shaft to accomodate the C6 ****'s set-screw. Or...
