Default Manual Fan Switch

Hey Guys. Has anyone done or have information on wiring up a manual fa n switch? My buddy did this to his Trans-Am and he tied into the computer rather than running directly to the relays. I tried searching but haven't found out what wires to connect. If you have any info or links to share, please post. Thanks.

Do a search on Ranger on here he has a write up on wiring a C5 manual switch for the drags. You can make a switch type system to work with it as well.

The PCM outputs two different ground or low signals to the relays in the engine compartment fuse box, to turn on the fans as required. If you can identify the wires for your car, you can easily wire it in. You'll need a formal schematic.

Good write up on the fan trick, Ranger.

Thanks for the help guys. Does anyone have a formal schematic of the PCM?

I have the diagrams, But it lists it by fuse #s. What are they? That trick above, you could easily run that through a switch to the inside of the car. Just switch the length of wire.
