My drivers side window would not go all the way down anymore. It makes a clunking sound like its off track (but its not) and stop 2/3rd the way down. If I push down and press the window down button, it goes the rest of the way. That was until recently, now the window won't come up Does it sound like I need to replace the motor and reg?

Sounds like it to me that you need to replace the regulator/motor assembly. I read on this forum somewhat recently that the assembly isn’t terribly expensive especially when purchased through a CorvetteForum.com vendor that sells genuine GM parts, such as Gene Gulley. http://www.gmpartshouse.com/ I have purchased through Gene and he is great to work with, but there are also other discount GM parts vendors on this forum.

I always advise people to keep removed Corvette parts because down the road, these “cores” may have value for a potential rebuild.

Arghh......at least it doesn't seem too difficult to replace from previous threads. Thanks!
