Default help with codes....

got a new set of dtc's after a glitch that stalled the vette for no apparent reason. can't find these on my list. SDM ( what does this mean?) 1040, left door 1064, 1016,1096....SCM (what's this one?)1160 RFA (?) 2100,2105,2110,2115. any help would be appreciated, thanks. dave

First you need to post the ENTIRE code .... a 1016 is difficult to look up as it could be a B1016, a C1016, a P1016, or a U1016. The front letter indicates the code "type" (Body, Chassis, Powertrain, Communications). Also you should post the suffix (C or H) which shows if the code is Current or History or both.

The SDM is the Sensing and Diagnostic Module and controls the airbag (SIR) system.

The RFA is the Remote Funtion Actuator and is the radio receiver for your key fobs and the Tire Pressure Sensors.

The SCM is the Seat Control Module and controls functions such as seat positioning.

I'm betting most of your codes have a U prefix ... delete and ignore them this time.

If they have a U preffix

Sensing and Diagnostic Module
1040 Loss of communication with EBCM
left door
1064 loss communication With BCM
1016 loss communication with PCM
1096 loss communication with IPC
Seat Control Module
1160 Loss of communication driver door module
RFA - Remote Function Actuation
C2100 Left Front TPM Sensor Malfunction
C2105 Right Front TPM Sensor Malfunction
C2110 Right Rear TPM Sensor Malfunction
C2115 Left Rear TPM Sensor Malfunction

If they come back under normal driving then you have a problem
If you stalled for no reason you may have other issues,
