Quick Meth Kit install question
Hey guys, I have a quick question.
I am installing my ECS meth kit and my question pertains to the location of the nozzles.
My car is tuned with a speed density tune. The MAF other than the IAT that is built into the MAF is not hooked up.
I want to run the meth nozzles before the MAF with IAT.
I read on some other posts that meth can eventually kill a MAF but I dont mind that part because I dont use it for the tune. I wanted to just run the nozzles before the MAF and I wanted to know if this is bad.
For how my car is setup it will be so much easier if this idea works. if not then I have tear a bunch of stuff apart and move the IAT seperatly etc.

You will be ok as long as you do not intend to use the MAF again as methanol will destroy the sensors (the IAT sendor will be ok). Might be worht your while to remove the MAF the eliminate any possible airflow restrictions.
