Default Navigation Systems for the C5

I've seen a few 1.5 din installed nav/stereo systems. Anyone have recommendations and pics for a nav system for the vette?

Thanks!

Love my Garmin Nuvi 350. It is portable, can plan trips in your easy chair in the den, can switch from car to car to boat. Small and easy to operate.

my ique 3600 shot craps the day before a long vacation so i bought a nuvi 350 (hand held) comes with a window mount. after being a gps user for the last 5 years, the switch to a newer model was worth it. antenna can site through the convertible or plastic top and is sensitive enough to work through a steel top without using a remote antenna. unless you are well healed, consider a hand held that you can easily carry with you as opposed to a fixed mount. i got mine at walmart for 450 but you can get it at walmart online for $350 shipped to the store. i did not have the time to wait so i just blew $100. could not believe that wamart would not match the online price. i think i will write them!

Look over in the C5 audio section (FAQ) for a double DIN installation; C5KIDD recently posted about a single DIN installed unit and someone else posted pics of the same over there. You were asking about an in-dash system, right?

I did a double din Kenwood 7100. It comes with Garmin NAV built in. Some work but I think it's worth it.

There are only two 1.5 DIN radios out. They both don't have nav. You either need a dash kit for the single DIN or get a $500 double DIN bezel (or make your own) for the 2 DIN radios w/nav.

Like said above, post this in the audio section, good people hang out there, and most know they are talking about.
