On my way to work 30 minutes ago I was stopped at a light and started to see light smoke coming off the engine bay. Pulled over and popped the hood, smelled coolant and saw a small bit pooling on the ground. Limped to work since I was 5 min away and noticed the engine temps was rising while I was at stop lights, but went down to normal while driving. There's also squealing that increases w/ engine rpm's.
I'm guessing its the water pump and not a hose because of the noise, but wanted to confirm. I'm hoping w/ a jug of coolant, I can make it home after work.

Could be anything from a slightly loose hose clamp to a hose leaking or a WP. Since you don't seem to have a "gusher" going on, it sounds to me like you should be OK to get home and start checking things.
Depending on traffic and distance, you might even consider leaving work a little later to avoid peak traffic tie-ups if your worried.
I made it home safe and sound thankfully. There is coolant leaking on the leafspring on the passenger side, and after letting it sit for a couple of days and starting it up, I didn't hear any sounds, I can see coolant on the drive belts, so that's where it may have been coming from before.
How can I tell if the coolant is definitely coming from the water pump, vs a leak in a coolant line? There is the weep hole that should be leaking on the water pump?

Wipe everything down to get them as clean and dry as possible. All hoses, engine area(s) around the W/P, etc, then start her up and go back and watch for any telltale signs of liquid. Shut her down after a minute or two and look/feel around the areas I mentioned, including the undersides of the hoses, (heater hoses too).
I'm thinking W/P as the biggest culprit.
