Default More DCR related Questions....

I ran some calculations, I want to port and polish and mill my LS6 243 heads. THe first column is current, the other columns are alternatives.
Fly cutting is currently out of the picture since I want to swap the heads myself. Which alternative do you think is best, I just found out that a lower DCR may give you room for more timing and get some more power.

PS AFR 205 are possible, however doesn't milling throw off the flow characteristics?

TIA.

milling the head will give u more compression ,therefore u will Gain more power by bumping up the compression ,but if u try to run forced induction ,u may be forced to ditch the heads Later down the road to gain some of that compression back ,u may wanna talk to Gunnar here is a link
