Low oil pressure!!!!!
Help!! 4K mi. on new 383 engine (04 block) 422rwhp. while on dyno at 6300rpm oil pressure on cluster+dic suddenly indicated low (frm 35 0n psi on idle + 60psi at 2000rpm to 16 +25 respectively.) I changed oil, filter,+oil pressure sensor ( 15-50 syn mobil)::::no change in pressure noted. Any ideas before I take next step + change the oil pump. ???Kellyryan -- 98 corvette automatic

Pull the main and rod bearing caps and check the bearings to see if they're toasted. It's likely they are because it only takes a few seconds to wipe out the wear surface absent lubricant.
