Default Aligning Exhaust Tips?

Well my driver side hangs down... obviously it needs to go up but I really see no way on doing this as there's only one hanger holding the muffler to a bump stop. I tried prying with a piece of wood and a jack but this steel is just too tuff... any recommendations?

Experiment with tightening the flange bolts up stream from the mufflers.

Do you have any exhaust mods? either way, its why I hate working with the exhaust, its a whole system. If the H (or X) pipe and cats are not aligned then it will throw off your tips. The above suggestion is good, loosen some of the flanges and try shifting the exhaust around and see if it helps.

Here's a method I used - left all the connections loose and lined the tips up on a jack. Then worked my wy from the front to the back of the car.

If you are under there loosening bolts to realign them, you might as well put on a whole new aftermarket catback. Corvette owner logic

Try this. Loosen the dirver's side flange bolts just ahead of the rear axle. You will need a set of jack stands to do this. Once the flange is loose, see if you can slide exhaust hanger tab on the muffler out of the hanger bracket. Take a large cresent wrench and close it down until you can use it to pry up on the hanger tab extending off the front of the muffler. You should be able to bend it up or down enough to affect how high or low it hangs in the hanger. Once you have it set, recoonect the flange ahead of the rear axle and tighten bolts to 35 ft-lbs. Good luck with it.

That logic has cost me a lot of money over the years.

My B&B PRT's did that on one side. I tightened up the clamps and put new ones on and nothing worked until I had it the pipes spot welded in one spot to keep the one side from rotating.

I couldn't get mine tucked under far enough for my liking. I ended up cutting a second slot in the rubber hanger, and it has held up well.
