Hey i am going to be purchasing a new exhaust system here really soon and just trying to decide what type i should get. I want that loudest i can get. I was told the SLP sounds awesome at idle and when driving. Does any one use the SLF loud mouth exhaust at all? also how hard would it be for me to take them back off and put factory exhaust back on if i decide to sell the car?
Need to hear them for your self-- everyone likes something different.
Just running a Corsa cat back and love the sound, deep idle and roars at full throttle, the only bad part is a rather loud sound around 2k when accelerating with the windows up.
if you want the loudest possible, you want to get slp loudmouths. Those are straigth pipes with no resonators and are loud as f*ck.
IMHO I would never get them for 2 reason:
1)they sound like trash, unless you are into that type of thing
2)highway resonance and drone.Imagine 100 bees buzzing every time you cruise past 60 mph.

Ive had them and loved them. And if you have headers they are extremly loud. I had to change mine out due to my neigbors. Best thing to do though is hear them in person and decide what you like.
THE LOUDER the better. I do have long tube headers on my 00 6spd. I guess I will go with a used set i found on here for 350 and see what i think. any one have any videos with this set up?

I was gonna start a post about this subject. I have Corsa Indys on my car & they are cool. My Vett used to be my everyday ride but is not any more........so I want some wild but tasty loud sound!! Iwas thinking the SLP loudmouths or the BB Bullets. I need some input on them. My exhaust is stock other that behind the cats!
Hi..I just installed a used set of GHL 4 tips..nice dep growl at idle, awesome @ WOT, and best of all no drone!!! Fit like a glove, and very well built....good luck!!

If you can handle the drone then the Loudmouths are the way to go.

The C5Z I'm in the process of purchasing has some GHL's on it. Good craftsmanship, no drone, and they sound nice. It's running through stock manifolds.
I have some LG Longtubes + Ti's on my C5 and also like its sound. Again, no drone, decently loud, good craftsmanship, and cheap (Ti's).
Just got off work a few hours ago and passed a co worker who drives an suv-- gave him 10 seconds off the line, passed him at about 90 and he called me shortly after and asked one question-- =
What the hell do you have on that? that sound was SICK!!!!!
Here are a few video links of B&B Bullets on my Z06 without headers and using the stock H pipe, windows down and with a partition.. Not quite as loud as SLP Loudmouths would be but pretty close. They only drone from 2600-2800 rpms and thats it. Its easy enough to stay out of that range in any gear and when cruising on the freeway in 5th or 6th. Sometimes I stay in the drone range just cause I like the deep sound of it. I had a car follow me into a gas station from the freeway once to tell me the exhaust drone was deafening to him when he was behind me.
definately the B&B Bullets...have them on my 2000 FRC and they are loud as heck..... check on www.youtube.com for videos of all the different exhausts.....
