Need size and thread pitc, upper rear shock mount!
I think I might have stripped out a shock mount. The bolt is biting but will not torque all the way. It is the bolt, about an inc or inch and a quarter long, that requires a 13mm socket. It is one of the two bolts that hold the upper rear shock mount plate in place. I need the size and thread pitch. Do not want to take the old one out until I have a game olan to fix. Otherwise, I'd take it to the hardware store and figure it out.

Wow and I thought I was the only one. The exact same thing happened to me installing the left rear shock. I just used two washers when it wouldn't go in all the way.
Me three, but now it won't thread... had to use a longer bolt with a nut on top for temporary. Is there a proper way to fix this, can I access this from the trunk area if I remove some of the plastic panel coverings ?
