LS3 ? for the engine gurus.
I'm looking for a reliable engine. I'm thinking a crate LS3 (when theyre finally available), throw a good cam inside of it and a good set of ported L92 heads and be done with it.
The only thing is, its going in my '01Z06. I know it would require the installation of a 24X reluctor wheel, crank sensor, 2X cam gear and cam sensor. How hard is it to do these things? And how much am I looking at to make this engine work in my '01?
