I have them right now, haven't put them on the car yet.

Noticed they are made in CHINA , hope that does not become a problem!! Should be OK for normal street use, they look nice anyway.

Hate them with a passion. They rust like crazy. I had to paint the drilled out sections, slots, veins, and hat to keep all the rust they make from ruining my chrome C6 rims.

They are not coated with any kind of protectant whatsover. We have them on my mother's 00 A4 Vert and my 01 Coupe, big mistake.

IMO shoulda save the money and just gotted some quality zinc coated ones.

*this is not just MY opinion like I got a bad batch, they are going to rust EVERY time you wash your car.

I heard that the hot ticket was to clearcoat those bad boyz which will protect everything out of the firepath of the pads. Eventually the pads will wear off the clear, but then again if it rusts in the "path" it will be gone after the first few stops. I'm going to try this on my Baer rotors for my old Firebird. They've been zinc-washed, but eventually that wears off too.

I've got 20k on mine. I painted them before installation. Still looks like new! Put on a/c delco ceramic pads at the same time. I'm just a cruiser. Great value for both.

See "My Corvette Photos" for a few pics.

Same here, wouldn't consider them on my Z06 track car but have them on the roadster (03 MSG), painted them to match the car before installation and they still look great two years later.

If your intent is street use, then paint will work to keep them looking decent.

They will not hold up for track use - they crack.

YUP Been there, done that. Now I have one set with slots & holes for street bling and stockers for the track. Painted mine too, no issues

Please do not buy unless you are planning to paint. My advice get the zink coated. I have them and they go from this nasty color of dripping rust to real dark rust. Once you realize it, you start to remember what a PITA it is to remove those caliper bracket bolts..so I just look at it and shake my head until I find the time

The AC Delco performance slotted are great rotors for street use. As others mentioned, not good for the track as they can crack.

They were standard on cars that came with the Z51 suspension option, so they are regular OEM parts.

No OEM rotors have any sort of coating, so they will rust like hell. I had mine zinc dipped, but you can also paint with a high temp paint. If you paint, I'd make an effort to mask off much of the firepath. Zinc is the way to go, since it's dipped, it gets the entire rotor, not just the areas you can see.

My rotors were made in Canada (or was it Brazil???) Certainly was not China.

Right...have them on my 2000 coupe. Painted with VHT clear prior to installation. Front discs were in boxes marked "Made in USA", rear discs marked "Made in Canada".

I just cleared the disc outer areas, including hubs. Should have painted the internal vanes to reduce rusting.

Generally pleased with them, and the GM ceramic pads for grand touring use.

Next time, likely step up to a lighter, two piece unit that is zinc washed/dipped.

here are mine when i installed them... i masked off and painted the inside hat as wlel as the outsides fins of the rotor. they have rusted a little bit but not super bad (it stormed pretty bad for 2-3 days)

these were NAPA hi performance rotors, cost me a whopping 60 dollars a piece and about 10 dollars in high heat caliper paint
