Thanks for the update. I ordered a new relay last week. I really miss the driving lights. I'd forgotten how bad the headlights alone are & I have APC bulbs in them! I'd like to upgrade to HID lights, but the price is a little too steep for me.
I told them what happened and which part number had failed (PL5FA). I got a response saying that the replacement part (PPP15) would be shipped out. Make sure to send your mailing address to the email so they know where to send it.
Or u can call them.

I purchased the PIAA 1100x fog lights for a 2000 Corvette convertible about a year ago and had them professionally installed. Over a month ago, one fog went out and my shop told me the relay (part #PL5FA) was bad, but said PIAA was covering these as defective. I was told to send this email and provide a shipping address for a new relay. Thanks.
I too had my PIAA 1100X fog lights go out. After reading the posts here on the forumI checked the electrical relay. I was not getting any juice down stream of the relay. So I too sent an e-mail to service@piaa.com as a few others have done explaining the problem.
Their response: "The Corvette Forum was wrong. We've been getting a lot of e-mails exactly like this one from members of this forum, but the relays are not defective. If your relay has gone out yuo would need to replace it with our new wiring harness 34085. We can warranty this out if you have a relay that has gone out, but it would require you to replace the whole wiring system".
What gives? Is it the replacement of the relay (with #PPP15) or the entire wiring needed?
