torque setting on the axle nuts...
I know the new Z gets 118. I am gonna check mine before i race this sunday. What do C5 specs call for?

Don't have my specs with me, but that sounds correct. If by "new" Z you mean the C6Z06, I don't know if those match up or not.
In any case, I have never heard of an axle nut backing off before, unless you've R&R'd it sometime in the past.
