I was just going through everything in the system and it doesn't show a number next to the left rear tire pressure. What possibly could this mean? Is this some sort of error?
dude black! what the? i already did. I filled it out right after i read your recommendation to do so.
Sorry, my browser isn't showing the data until I go into your profile and do a refresh ... my bad ... sorry ...
OK, you've got a 2001, the good news is the 2001 and up use the cheaper sensor.
Here's what to do .... try re-programming the sensors ... I'll post the link in the next reply.
If that sensor is bad ... I'll post the replacement part number too.
You'll need to take the wheel into a tire shop for them to break the bead and replace the sensor. It is like a 10 minute job so most places (if you pay the manager in cash) will do it CHEAP ... like 10 or 20 bucks (most).
If that sensor won't re-program the battery has probably died and you need a replacement sensor and nut. Here's the part numbers ....
25773946 - sensor
15234846 - nuts
These sensors will ONLY work on Model Year 2001 thru 2004 C5's
Also, be SURE that the sensor is not over-tightened by the tire monkey .... that will destroy the sensor and you'll have to buy another. The torque setting is ... 62 inch/lbs. NOTICE ... that is INCH .... not FOOT/lbs.
