Doesn't really matter. All the X-pipe does is minimize exhaust pulsing and some of the resonance - no horsepower and virtually no benefit. You can get just about the same effect with a 2" piece of pipe welded between the 2 exhaust banks - which is what GM does from the factory.
I just bought the AR LT header system. The hi-flow cats are after the X-pipe. The supplied X-pipe has a much larger "crossover hole" than the standard H-pipe. When you consider the shape of the X design compared to the H design, the exhaust can crossover and balance more smoothly (less turbulent, more efficient) than the H-pipe. Does it make HP? No. Just helps balance exhaust pressure
