Default Differences in power ducts worth extra $$?

I am putting a vararam on my 02 Z06 and figured I should probably change out the power duct and coupler at the same time.

There are 3 I keep finding everywhere and I was curious if there was a reason I should not get the cheapest one. I am really not concerned with carbon fiber or how it looks. Only how it performs.

Here are the 3 I keep finding. If I am missing something better please let me know.

First

High flow power duct with smooth coupler $150 or so

The next is

Carbon Fiber power duct with smooth coupler $320 or so

And the last is

Stinger $290 or so

The power ducts and couplers are mainly for cosmetic purposes. The OEM setup can support the Vararam with no problem.

Nice to know thanks. I thought these made an improvement over the stock z06 one with th accordian coupler. I figured since it had to come off for the vararam anyway I would upgrade it too. Not anymore

You can keep your oem air bridge and replace the accordion duct with a smooth silicone coupler. Then paint the emblem or buy the decals for the emblem. It'll look like a custom set up and won't mess up the hood insulator.
I found the SLP smooth (bump in the middle for flex) silicone coupler (approx. $47 retail) provided the look I was after and was still flexible enough over a rigid silicone coupler. I think they only come in black however.

If you bought a Callaway Honker in the first place you wouldn't even had to think about this. The Honker relocates the MAF and doesn't need an air bridge due to its unique design..
