Z06 Breather cover
Has anyone tried the Z06 breather cover on a stock LS1? I am interested to know whether its a better way to go than the Vortex kit.

I have it...inexpensive to buy (got it from Ken on this Forum). I like the "stock" appearance...plus the "modified" appearance (I don't have an '02 Z06) plus the bonus of being "stock" for the sake of water ingestion...I think it would be really hard for Chevy to claim intake problems using one of their parts. It is relatively easy to install yourself...I babied it and it was on in 30 minutes (I know, I know...all you REAL 'Vette owners did it in 5 minutes)
I think it is a little louder at WOT :cool: . I think it "pulls" more at WOT :cool: .
It was worth the small amount paid...I have kept the paper filter for filtering efficiency but am still deciding on whether or not to add the K&N. :chevy

I don't think that it does much - if anything - because you are still using the stock filter which is very restrictive.
