I agree...no need to change it unless something is wrong with it. On my '99, its still the original and still works fine at 297K miles and going up all the time.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I thought I saw somewhere that the throttle position sensors needed to be replaced as preventative maintenence. I priced one the other day through hamlet atomotive and they were 90 bucks or something like that so I figured I'd ask the experts first.
But I guess in this case the old saying is true. "If it ain't broke don't fix it".

I've never heard of the TPS being a time/mileage change part. Keep on motoring man, leave it alone.

Just broke mine installing the ProCharger and it cost me $125.00 I would never have had to replace it had I not Broke It!
