Smoked Lights
Has anyone smoked their own tail lights and marker lights. I think i want to turn all my red and amber black. I remember a thread a while ago where someone made their own, but I searched and could not find the product they used. Does anyone know where I can get the stuff you bake on or spray on?

Mine are NON-Clear coated. The secret is many very light applications. I think I sprayed mine like 5-6 times.

Wow sick Z06 you went real dark, they look nice. I only did 4 coats but they are still real dark too. I did my sides the same way. You have to take them off by going through the far left or far right rear tail light whole respectively. It was a little tough for me cause I am short and thus have short arms but not a big deal at all. Word of caution though be careful when loosening and tightening the nuts on them cause the suds on the side markers are plastic and break easily. Ask how I know lol.

I haven't done the front corner lamps. I did do the rear though. However now that you say that. I might just think about that, over buying the clear ones.
Pat, Yeah I went dark. I figured if I'm going to do it and run the risk of a fix it ticket, got damn it.. I'm going to make it worth it.
