Have you checked the fluid level in the master brake cylinder?

Been there for about a year and a half - no issues.
I'll be interested to see what others think.

Do you guys have telescopic steering wheel ? If so it may be leaking from drive motor.

Has the paint been removed at the leak area? Brake fluid will remove paint - Oil will not normally remove paint.
I can't tell from the photos if the paint has been removed or not - the more I look at the photos, the more unsure I am. My guess is that no paint has been removed.

You probably have a bad seal.
By the way there is no paint down there just rubber and sound proofing.
