Well I got a check engine light on today and looked into the code bank in the DIC, I then looked at the codes in the manual and found some here on the forum, can someone halp me make heads or tails of this stuff? I never had any lights on until I installed a Vararam B2, I have dbl and trpl checked all connections so I m lost on what to do. It is a 2002 ZO6, Here is what I got: ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
10-PCM P0171 H
99-HVAC B0361 H C
" " B0441 H
A0-LDCM B2282 H
" " B2284 H
" " U1064 H
" " U1066 H
Al-RDCM B2283 H
" " B2285 H
" " U1064 H
It looks like the only current code is the HVAC, hence the "C", rather than the "H."
Have you tried deleting all of the codes and going for a drive to see if any pop up again?
The PCM 0171/0174 code can sometimes come when there is unmetered air bypassing the MAF. Many who install a CAI get this code and it should go away after resetting it (though it may come back). If it comes back, check to see that you didn't OVERtighten the clamps before and after the MAF, and that ALL connections are secure.
Disregard the codes with the "U" prefix.
The "B" prefix codes typically come when you disconnect the battery.
The HVAC code is from an actuator door not not working properly. It will not affect anything mechanical.
Thank you! I did resest all of them and it is still firing the code(check engine light is off however the code is still under the HVAC section in the DIC), I never thought I could have over tightened, I will check in the AM. Thanks for the advice/help
