Leak Tracer

Anyone know the name of the dye you add to oil to check for leaks and if it's available at the local auto store ?
I have a minor drip under the passenger front spring ..it's not the crank seal, possibly a power steering leak.

Never heard of a dye that you could add to your oil. There is one for an AC system.

Oil Leak Tracer

Hi Tourmgr1, You didn't dream it up. There are Leak Tracers for engine oil, and antifreeze, as well as AC units. In fact you could add Leak Tracer to just about any automotive fluid to help find a leak. One that comes to mind is "Ultralife". There are others. Most auto stores carry them. Then after adding the tracer, you need a UV,(blacklight), light source to spot the flourescent tracer.
