If I change my sensors, will I have to replace any o-rings or sealing washers or can I just use the existing pieces? thanks, Dave Hoping to change the batteries....

I hope you know there's more to it than just "changing the batteries". If you are going through all that I would use new "O" rings. They are cheaper than cheap.

First you have a 2003 VERT, so you don't have o-rings, you have "gaskets".

Why are you replacing the TPSs ? You should get 10 years from them !

New TPSs should come with the gaskets. You probably should buy new TPS nuts, especially if you are going to use on another set of wheels. You could reuse yours though.

Oldvetter; I thought the life expectancy was 5 to 7 yrs. on these sensors??? built late 02 makes them qualify. No? (they are going back on the stock wheels...) if they do last ten years I'll just re-install. Dave

Series I sensors (1997-2000) have a 7 year life. Series II sensors (2001-2004) have a 10 year life, they do not report pressure in real time as Series I do. Not to worry, if you loose pressure they report immediately.

So late 02 plus 10 years equals 2012. You have plenty of life left.
