Warning on P1416 code and driving it!
I heard it was O.K. to drive with the "air check valve" throwing the P1416 code. That was the only code I got, so I reset it a few times until I got the chance to bring it in. Brought it in for replacement today and the dealer said the bad valve caused the air pump to burn up, adding another $400+ to the valve replacement, if out of warranty, like mine was. :(

Bummer....mine was only the check valve. Wish I would have had the Z06 manifold to throw on since the intake was already off! :cheers:

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.
BTW, it threw the 1416 code twice on the way home. Did you get any codes after the fix and is it true that it may continue to throw the code for up to 50 ignition cycles?
