Will ported heads = running lean?
I'm adding a set of ported heads with stock compression. I was wondering if it would cause the car to run a little lean.

No, Becouse after you change the heads youll get it tuned, so it will be just fine
Seriously though, you cant change the heads like that without a tune, it wont run right.

I'm planning on a tune, just curious how it will affect my current tune since I'm running an 11:1 AFR.

Curious as to why you would tune it to 11-1 AFR? Wayyyyyy rich.

I didn't do the tune but found out after I put it on a dyno for fun. It only has a street tune right now.

Changing the heads alone wont to anything to the tune. Do you have a cam? Is the cam matched to the heads?
You may pick up some power but to spend the $$ on ported heads and not take advantage via the proper cam is wasting money.

See sig for mods. I guess I should have phrased it "will it run rich with heads" because that is my main concern. I'm not going to be doing any WOT runs until it's tuned but I do need to know if I can make it to the tuner OK.

with the existing rich tune, I would not worry to much about a SHORT drive to the tuner unless you changed the CR.

I'm stock compression. What's short, I have to go about 45 min. (other side of town).
