Upper oil pan gasket?
Is there more than one oil pan gasket? I took my 03 AE for a oil change today. It only has 11,000 miles on it. After getting home I noticed this upper gasket leaking on my invoice. No one talked to me in person about it. This was kinda strange to me as the car has never used any oil or left any oil on the garage floor. What do you make of it?

yes there is an upper and lower pan.
Sounds like the upper pan is labor intensive with quotes near 700 from the stealership.
I had the lower pan fixed up for next to nothing.
I am not sure if there are any bolts that can be reached for the upper pan that may temporarily fix the situation?
I did not have oil on the ground either but i did have it blown back on to the differential exhaust etc.

I had to have my oil pan replaced and the pan itself I believe was around $900 for the part. In order to install it they had to remove a good portion of the front end and required an alignment afterwards. It was Very expensive. I hope yours isn't the same situation. If it isn't leaking any oil on the floor and is meerly 'Seeping', I would wait for it to get worse before I'd spend the money. Find out more specifically what they meant and possibly have it put on the rack to look at it yourself. Mine was leaking enough to drip about 1 qt oil in about 2500 miles. The only reason I had them fix it was becuase they were going to fix the rear main seal while they were already in the bell housing after I blew up the clutch. It was kind of a domino effect in fixes. Good luck - Ron
