I've got an '02 Coupe, and curently have a Magnaflow system including X-Pipe. The car is lowered on the stock bolts.
Next mod is going to be a set of LG Longtube headers. However, just last night, when going over a speed bump at a slow speed, the X-Pipe scraped the ground.
My questions are, are the headers going to hurt my ground clearance even more? And, does anyone have the front ride height adjusters completly out and run headers? Mine adjusters are still in, but cranked down all the way.
I have the front stops removed and rear adjusters. My car is damn low. I just installed the LG street set up with high flow cats and x-pipe, it sits up real high and tight, better than the factory system. Just be careful how you mount the bolts or they will hang low. Overall, incredible system and it really woke up the sound on my car.
Awesome. I'm having some difficulty deciding between the street and pro system. Other than the cost, why did you choose the street?
Thanks for your help.....
if your going with a power adder or stroker later than get the pro's. but if your just stock displacement all motor get streets. the pro's are a little big for a dd bolt on car. you will lose some down low. jmho
I'm lowered on stock bolts about 1.5" or so, and my LG longtubes scrape on most speedbumps - in fact, you cannot really go over speedbumps. The 'table' ones are OK, but no speedbumps. If you have to run cats, they will also hang lower than the headers by a bit. Mine are scraped pretty significantly around the collectors area.

I went with the street because I have a stock bottom end, and just did and h/c install. They make more torque on the lower end than the pros with that type of set up.
Not being able to go over speedbumps is ridiculous. My car is parked in a parking garage every day which is great but there are lots of speed bumps in there. I have to go <5mph over them on my stock setup in order to not scrape.
If I put headers on the car they must tuck up as well or better than stock or I'll hate driving the car.

Thank you! That makes the decision easy, I'll be going with the street version. Should I expect a decrease in low end power after installing these?
