ECS Drive Shaft
The C5/6 prop-shaft has very little (basically none) angular misalignment. If U-joints are used, the needle bearings will move very little. As a result, the contact areas stay in relatively the same area, have less effective lubrication & "potentially" cause a brinell failure in the bearing surfaces. All in theory...
Of course, it may work for quite a while & likely depends on how much power you have & how often you drive it. Probably not the best option for a daily driver. But if you need a high strength shaft, you probably don't drive it much anyway.
Just my random engineering thoughts.
No hard feelings to ECS or anyone using these shafts. Maybe they do work well long term. Has anyone had any issues with them?

Also, IIRC AllThrottleNoBottle (Steve) has one.
