6.5 qts of mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic with a filter (I use TG3506 by fram)

I use a WIX or NAPA Gold (same filter) oil filter.

I was using Delco filters until I had a problem with the gasjets leaking (on another car), so I switched to WIX.

Yup same here - the K&N HP1007. I used Castrol Syntec oil instead of Mobil 1 as it was on sale at Wallymart at the time and it meets GM's specs.

Doing the same here...Pennzoil Platinum (PP) seems to be performing better against M1 when comparing UOA's over at BITOG...especially in the Iron wear column. It also has the GM Corvette specification GM4817M

I've been using Mobil 1 and AC Delco or Super-Tech filters (whichever is cheaper). I'm going to try Penzoil Platinum next time in both LSx cars...

Just did mine w/ the K&N. 6.5 was right on but that includes prefilling the oil filter. I like the fitting on the end of the K&N that allows easy on and easy off.
