Default Ordered the CLB and the CAGS- POLL

Today I ordered the CLB and CAGS from Corvettes of Houston. I have not had any problems with my 1998 6spd and my car had the first fuel shut off recall done. I figured as long as I have not had a problem perhaps the CLB is the way to go. I always have untill 2/08 if this doesnt work.

The POLL is this; Vote whether or not the CLB is a safe bet for a 1998 that has not had an issue.

Yes it is a good idea.

NO it will not work.

It *should* work. Some '97s had problems with CLBs, but even that was fairly uncommon. I don't know if the '98s had the same issue, I do know the 99+ models work well with the CLB.

OTOH, GM's track record on fixing this problem is pretty poor.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
