I recently purchased a 97 C5 with 19k miles on it. It now has 21k. My question.....the car roadwalks on uneven pavement. It has the original Goodyears (yuk) on it with only about 35% of the tread life remaining on the front. Is this problem related to the worn out tires and/or the front end aligment?? I did take a ride in another C5 with the new Firehawks and couldn't believe the difference.

Re: Roadwalking Frontend! (wallstAL)
the shoulder on the Goodyear tires are very square... the Firehawks have a rounded shoulder... I dumped my EMT's for the Firestones a month ago... I had probably 50% tread remaining on the Goodyears... wasn't a hard decision to make... the difference in ride and handling ws worth it.
On a bad road, my supercars on the Z06 take the front end all over the place...In the rain, now that can be testing. I had to let the car change lanes once because it wanted to on a bad stretch of highway in the wet stuff. At least I know active handling works when it hydroplanes those 295's out back...
