Default 38rtd "no Communication"

I am getting "SERVICE VEHICLE SOON" message on my DIC. I checked codes and I am getting "NO COMMUNICATION" on 38RTD. Any suggestions?

RTD relates to Real Time Damping. There should be additional codes to narrow it down further.

That is the problem. When checking my codes all it says is No Comm.

example

10PCM 1 Code
28TCS 2 codes
38RTD NO COMM.
etc.

Does 38RTD always have no comm. next to it?

I am also getting SERVICE VEHICLE SOON while driving. The car is driving fine.

You should be able to pull up the 2 Traction Control System codes and get thier number.

They were C1225H and C1281H. I deleted the codes this morning and they have not returned. Sometimes when I run over railroad tracks too hard the vibrations causes mt TCS to go off. This is do to a bad connection at a plug at my driver side front wheel. About every three years or so I have to add some gel for electrical connections to this plug to keep the connection good. I do not believe this is causing my 38RTD to not get communication.

Where does the DIC get communication from in regards to RTD?

Thanks for your time to respond!

I don't know if this applies, but I was getting service ABS/TC/Active handling messages several time per week. I cleaned the front grounds as per the electrical sticky in this section. No problems in over five weeks!
I also was having problems with my driver's seat not holding settings. Fixed the wire in the loom betweek the door and the body. No seat problems any more.
My point being - there is a lot of info in that sticky and there might be an answer for your problem.
Good luck!
