what key fob do I need?

what key fob do I need?
My 01 only came with 1 key and remote, the remote has the number 2 on the bottom so I'm wondering if I need the number 1 one? I'm going to get one off of ebay so I want to be sure of what I need.

The car was originally delivered with 2 keys and 2 FOBs. The FOBs were marked 1 and 2. Buy a number 1 fob so you can keep track of them. I would be worried about the other key. Where is it? If it isn't at the bottom of a 200 ft deep lake then somebody has the key that can be used to steal your car. Also replacement keys are not cheap because of the security feature built into them so you should insist the seller give you the key unless it is at the bottom of a lake.

I believe you can program either one to be 1 or 2 .........all in your programming. I just marked mine so I know which set is which on my 2000

I personally think you should purchase one from me instead of eBay. I have great pricing on new items.
You cannot use a #2 for a #1.
